I offer a range of services for lashes & brows such as brow waxing, tweezing, tinting, henna tinting, lash lifts, lash tints, & will be offering brow lamination very soon.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REGULAR TINTING AND HENNA TINTING?
The way Henna works on the hair and skin structure is unique in comparison to tinting. Tinting uses an oxidant to open the cuticle of the hair and allows color to penetrate the brow hairs cortex through the oxidation process. The process of regular tinting results in a softer more natural looking brow. Henna on the other hand, acts like a blanket over the hair and provides a coating to the hair shaft, coating the top layers of the hair cuticle only. Henna does not require an oxidant or hydrogen peroxide to activate the color. The product is plant based and is a great option for those with sensitivities, for those who prefer when the tint stain on the skin or for those who like a more solid looking brow.
HOW LONG DOES TINTING LAST?
Tinting lasts on the skin for roughly 2-4 days, but lasts on the hair for roughly 2-3 weeks. Results may vary based on skin type & shade used,
HOW LONG DOES HENNA TINT LAST?
Henna tint can last anywhere from 2-4 week. Results may vary based on skin type and the shade used for the tint. An oilier skin type may break down the tint faster.
